Lackawanna County recently issued the following announcement.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Lackawanna County Board of Commissioners will hold their Public Budget Hearings, as per the Home Rule Charter, regarding the proposed 2021 Budget on the following dates:
October 19th at 10am: Commissioners will be live streaming the County seat Public Hearing at: www.youtube.com/user/electriccitytv570.
October 20th at 2pm: Carbondale City Hall, 1 N Main St, Carbondale, PA 18407
October 22nd at 3pm: Dunmore Community Center, 1414 Monroe Ave, Scranton, PA 18509
October 27th at 2pm: Dickson City Borough Building, 901 Enterprise St. Dickson City, PA 18519
The public is invited to view this live streamed hearing. County residents may send their comments/questions, in writing with their name and address, to be answered and included in the minutes by emailing: openmeetings@lackawannacounty.org no later than 9:00am on the day of the virtual hearing, along with the other Public Budget Hearings.
Space will be limited at each location, and masks must be worn.
