Former West Scranton High School standout Zachary Lloyd and the Wilkes Colonels claimed a 2-0 win over the Lycoming Warriors in an NCAA Division III baseball contest played Tuesday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m.
The matchup at Bruggeworth Field marked the Colonels’ first game against Lycoming this season.
Lloyd worked seven innings on the mound, striking out three batters.
The Colonels are set to play again on Wednesday, March 25, at 5 p.m. at Volpe Field against the Scranton Royals.
