On Tuesday, March 4, former Valley View High School standout Zack Kovalchik’s current college team, the Sacred Heart Pioneers, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Rhode Island Rams.
The game took place at Bill Beck Field. This was their first matchup against the Rams this season.
The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 3 p.m. at E. T. Straw Family Stadium against Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.
