On Friday, Feb. 14, former Valley View High School standout Zack Kovalchik’s current college team, the Sacred Heart Pioneers, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the South Carolina Gamecocks.
The game took place at Founders Park. This was their first matchup against the Gamecocks this season.
The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Founders Park against South Carolina Gamecocks.
