On Thursday, November 17th the North Pocono Rotary visited North Pocono Middle School for the first installment of 7th grade Student of the Month. The recipients for the Delaware Team were Kellen Mapes and Emiline Black and the Mohawks Team were Tanner Corkins and Zionney Yoy. The students and their parents will be the honorees at a breakfast in April sponsored by the NP Rotary. Congratulations to our Student of the Month recipients for making us NP Proud!

Lackawanna County’s 11 universities admitted an estimated 84.8% of applicants for fall 2022, an increase over the previous year.
Enrollment data for the nine universities in Lackawanna County revealed white was the most common ethnicity among students in the 2022-23 school year, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.
