The request specifically sought records under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law, seeking information about active and retired employees in the organization's pension fund for the year of 2023. The requested data fields included last name, first name, middle name, date of birth, employer name, employment start date, employment end date, salary, compensation type, amount, year, process date, last disbursement amount, disbursement frequency and the contribution amount for 2023.

As a media organization dedicated to transparency and accountability in public institutions, we believe that access to such records is crucial in fulfilling our professional responsibilities. This information will enable us to provide our readers with an informed perspective on the workings of local government entities like the Dunmore Borough Police Pension Plan.

We have also requested a fee waiver as a media professional given our role in disseminating information to the public.
