Jason Carpenter, former Scranton High School baseball player will compete with his collegiate team for the NCAA D3 Baseball Championship

Former Scranton High School player and current Scranton Royals pitcher, Jason Carpenter, will compete in the NCAA D3 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number two seed against the third seeded NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops.

The first game is on Friday, May 17.
