Lifeguards Needed At County Parks

The lazy, hazy days of Summer are just around the corner. And with that, so is swimming.

Lackawanna County needs lifeguards at its lakes and pool at its four parks – McDade, Aylesworth, Covington and Merli-Sarnoski.

All applicants must be Red Cross certified. The County will be paying lifeguards $15 per hour and will also reimburse the individual the cost of the certification.

Applications are available on the County’s website – https://buff.ly/3FJBHSu.  Further information is available by calling the Park& Recreation Office at 570-963-6764.
