RE: Change to Halloween Parade 2022
In response to predicted rain for Monday, the Halloween parade will be held this Friday, October 28th at 10:00 am. We know how important this tradition is to everyone and appreciate your flexibility in adjusting your schedules.
Parents and family members will park in the upper parking lot or the Jefferson Lions Club lot. After parking, please find a spot to stand in the grass along the sides of the lower parking lot to view the parade.
Our students will exit the building, grade by grade beginning with kindergarten, through the lower parking lot doors. Students will parade around the lower lot, enter the building, and parade out around the lower lot once more. After parading for the second time, the students and their teachers will assemble for a class photo in the grassy area near the car rider drop-off point. Parents/families will depart after the parade.
Reminders:
For safety reasons, costumes will be brought, not worn, to school. Students will change, here at school, before the parade.
No blood, gore, or weapons of any kind will be permitted. No characters from rated R movies.
Only non-food items may be distributed as “treats” from home.
