Teachers and staff at Jefferson Elementary School spent their August 25th in service expressing feelings with color and experienced an intuitive painting workshop led by Jefferson's art teacher Jaime Sheehan. Mrs. Sheehan has been undergoing intensive training to be certified in Art4Healing. The vision of Art4Healing is to support emotional healing through art & creative expression for those living in pain, grief, fear or stress. This structured, abstract method gives a chance for participants to express themselves when words fail. This method can be used with all ages. Faculty art is on display in our JEC showcase for all to enjoy.
