The two-time defending Landmark Conference Champions, University of Scranton women's soccer team, has unveiled the program's 2022 schedule with the regular season set to start on Sept. 3.
Returning from a second consecutive Landmark title and an NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance, Scranton will hit the road to begin the year with a trip to the Stockton Classic where they will first play Kean on Sept. 3 followed by host Stockton on Sept. 4.
Guided by head coach Colleen Pivirotto and assistant coach Blake Mullen, the Royals will compete in 17 matches this season including eight home contests at Weiss Field.
Scranton faces a tough non-conference schedule this season as they are set to battle three other squads that also qualified for the NCAA Tournament a year ago in Stevens (Sept. 17), Misericordia (Sept. 28) and Farmingdale State (Oct. 5).
Landmark Conference play gets underway on Sept. 24 as the Royals head to Catholic. Scranton will return home for the following three conference matches against Goucher (Oct. 1), Elizabethtown (Oct. 8) and Drew (Oct. 12).
Later in October, the Royals will look to close out conference play strong with a pair of back-to-back Saturday road matches at Moravian (Oct. 15) and Susquehanna (Oct. 22). Scranton will end the season at home on Oct. 29 when they host Juniata.
