Census Bureau: More women than men in Scranton in 2020

Of the 76,997 people living in Scranton in 2020, 50 percent (38,511) were women and 50 percent (38,486) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Scranton Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 1,067. In the 65 and over age range, there were 7,551 females and 5,758 males.
