County of Lackawanna issued the following announcement on Sept. 9.
Pennsylvania State Representative Bridget M. Kosierowski, 114th District, inside left, presented a proclamation to Jason Kavulich, center, Lackawanna County’s Area Agency on Aging Director, at the September 1 Commissioners meeting in Moosic in recognition of both his County Commissioner Association of Pennsylvania’s “Friend of County Government” Award and role in safeguarding the welfare of local older adults during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Kavulich organized numerous clinics, special events, testing programs, and other activities and giveaways with local health care sponsors and partners to keep older residents safe.
