The Parishes of Holy Cross & Blessed Sacrament recently issued the following announcement.
BLESSED SACRAMENT’S PIGS IN A BLANKET DINNER
When: Saturday, August 21st
Where: Blessed Sacrament Parish Hall
Dine-In or Take-Out from Noon – 7pm
in Parish Hall.
We've added a bake sale!
If you are willing to bake please call Karen Doyle at 570-489-2552. All bakers can drop off their baked goods on Friday, August 20th from 2pm-6pm at the church or on Saturday August 21st before Noon
There will also be basket raffles, a 50/50, and potato pancakes. All registered parishioners should have received two dinner tickets and 50/50 tickets in the mail.
Please make returns as soon as possible by dropping them in the weekly collection, dropping off at the Parish Rectory in Olyphant, or sending in the mail.
Additional dinner tickets are available at the Parish Rectory or by calling 570-489-0752.
Donations Needed: Cans of tomato soup, ketchup, and soda, baskets for basket raffle.
All donations can be dropped of at entrances of church.
Volunteers Needed - All are Welcomed!
Sunday, August 15th after 9:30am Mass. We need help steaming the cabbage. Tuesday and Wednesday, August 17th and 18th when the piggies will be made.
