The historic Scranton Iron Furnaces in the heart of Downtown Scranton will provide a stunning backdrop and add a unique atmosphere for the Scranton Shakespeare Festival's 10th anniversary summer season. Enjoy free outdoor performances throughout the summer!
A young orphan and his mates are shipped off from Victorian England to a distant island. On the way, they encounter a precocious Starcatcher-in-training, Molly, who realizes their unopened trunk holds precious starstuff. This celestial substance is so powerful it becomes their duty to guard it against all odds, which becomes more than they planned when villainous pirates surround them. This straightforward voyage quickly becomes a thrilling adventure.
