Of the 4,441 people living in Jessup in 2019, 51.7 percent (2,295) were women and 48.3 percent (2,146) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Scranton Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 1,377-to-1,370. In the 65 and over age range, there were 483 females and 317 males.
