Graduates earn 122 degrees, certificates from the Fortis Institute-Scranton

About 38.5 percent of the 122 degrees and certificates handed out by the Fortis Institute-Scranton in 2017-18 were to students in programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Scranton conferred 37 certificates and 10 associate's degrees in medical/clinical assistant programs.

Other popular programs include licensed practical/vocational nurse training, dental hygiene/hygienist and dental assisting/assistant.

The institute enrolled 288 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
