Graduates earn 156 degrees, certificates from Johnson College

About 30.1 percent of the 156 degrees and certificates handed out by Johnson College in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Scranton conferred 47 associate's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in veterinary/animal health technology/technician and veterinary assistant. Data shows the school gave out 19 associate's degrees in veterinary/animal health technology/technician and veterinary assistant, followed by 19 associate's degrees in radiologic technology/science - radiographer and 19 certificates in welding technology/welder.

The college enrolled 428 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
