Cost of college went up for all students at Marywood University

Tuition and fees rose 2.9 percent for 2018-19 at Marywood University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $34,910 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $970 more than the $33,940 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 446 students received grants or scholarships totaling $10.3 million and 342 students took out student loans totaling more than $3 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,853), 1,758 students used grants or scholarships totaling $35.7 million, and 1,376 students took out $10.2 million in federal student loans.
