Cost of college went up for all students at Johnson College

Tuition and fees rose 2.3 percent for 2018-19 at Johnson College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $18,991 to attend the two-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $424 more than the $18,567 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 105 students received grants or scholarships totaling $769,615 and 102 students took out student loans totaling more than $727,288.

Including all undergraduates (428), 344 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.6 million, and 342 students took out $2.2 million in federal student loans.
