Former Dunmore Junior Senior High standout Sophia Talutto and her Scranton Lady Royals teammates earned a 60-52 victory over the NYU Violets in the NCAA Division III Tournament on Thursday, March 19.
The matchup was held at the Cregger Center with tipoff at 7:30 p.m.
Talutto posted eight points, five steals, three rebounds, two assists and one block across 24 minutes on the court.
Scranton’s next contest is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, at 4 p.m. at the Cregger Center.
