Sophia Talutto, a former Dunmore Junior Senior High School star, helped lead her collegiate team, the Scranton Lady Royals, to a 76-59 victory over the Bates Bobcats in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.
The matchup, held at 7 p.m. at John Long Center, marked the teams’ first faceoff in the tournament.
Scranton Lady Royals are set to play their next game on Saturday, March 14 at 8:30 p.m., also at John Long Center.
