He acknowledged the commitment of those who have served the community over the years by stating, “Honored to join the Shavertown Volunteer Fire Department in celebrating 100 years of dedicated service to our community — thank you to the brave men and women who have protected Shavertown for a century!”
The following day, on May 6, 2025, he turned his attention to National Nurses Day.
