Congressman Rob Bresnahan Jr. has taken to social media to share his reflections and initiatives on various topics, ranging from historical commemorations to legislative efforts. In a series of tweets, he discusses significant historical events, introduces new legislation, and advocates for workforce training programs.
On June 6, 2025, Congressman Bresnahan commemorated the anniversary of D-Day with a tweet that highlighted the bravery and sacrifice of Allied troops during World War II. He stated: “81 years ago today, Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy under fire to begin the liberation of Western Europe. It was a turning point in World War II — and a testament to human courage. We remember their sacrifice.”
Later that day, he introduced new legislation aimed at reforming the Small Business Administration’s loan program. He tweeted: “Proud to introduce the CEASE Act, restoring integrity to the SBA 7(a) Loan program by preventing excessive SBLCs that the SBA cannot properly regulate. It’s time to stop giving the federal government opportunities to misuse taxpayer dollars.” The proposed act is intended to ensure proper regulation and use of taxpayer funds.
On June 7, 2025, Congressman Bresnahan voiced his support for job training programs through another tweet. He mentioned his endorsement of a letter supporting Job Corps Centers like those in Pennsylvania’s District 8: “I signed onto a letter to advocate for our Job Corps Centers, these programs like Keystone Job Corps Center located in PA-08 provide much needed workforce training and help open pathways to in-demand construction and manufacturing jobs.”
The Job Corps Centers offer essential training that prepares individuals for employment opportunities in sectors experiencing high demand.
