In a tweet posted on May 19, 2025, he announced the introduction of the Simplifying Forms for Veterans Claims Act. He emphasized the importance of easing paperwork burdens for returning service members by stating, “Our military members dedicate their lives to serving our nation – the last thing they need when they come home are mountains of daunting paperwork. That’s why I introduced the Simplifying Forms for Veterans Claims Act, which will make VA forms clearer and easier to navigate.”
