Congressman Rob Bresnahan Jr. recently used his social media platform to address several topics, including government funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Vietnam Veterans Day, and Palm Sunday.
On March 28, 2026, Bresnahan stated, “Those who protect us should never be held hostage by partisan politics. That’s why today I voted again to fund all of DHS. We have now voted four times to make sure the people who secure our skies, respond to disasters, and keep America safe get the paychecks they’ve earned.” He emphasized his continued support for ensuring that DHS employees receive their salaries despite ongoing political debates.
The following day, March 29, 2026, Bresnahan marked National Vietnam Veterans Day with a tribute: “Today, on National Vietnam Veterans Day, we honor the brave men and women from Northeastern Pennsylvania and across the nation who served in Vietnam. Your courage and sacrifice deserve our deepest gratitude, and a grateful nation finally says: welcome home.”
Later that same day, Bresnahan acknowledged Palm Sunday with a message focused on faith and community: “On Palm Sunday, we reflect on Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the start of Holy Week. May this sacred day bring peace, hope, and renewal to all who observe and uplift our communities with faith and compassion.”
Rob Bresnahan Jr. is a member of Congress representing constituents from Northeastern Pennsylvania.
