On October 31, 2025, Bresnahan posted about a recent event honoring military service members: “Honored to participate in last Saturday’s Veterans Recognition Ceremony & Expo, celebrating those who’ve served. Grateful to connect with veterans and families, helping them access benefits and resources they deserve. Serving those who served is a privilege we take seriously.”
Later that day, he highlighted a visit to a local health services provider: “Last week, we visited Maternal and Family Health Services in Scranton to tour their Circle of Care and discuss the vital role of WIC. Programs like WIC are lifelines for women, children, and families, and I’m committed to ensuring they remain funded and accessible.” The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a federal assistance program designed to provide nutritional support for low-income pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, infants, and young children.
On November 1, 2025, Bresnahan attended an event marking significant milestones for a local charity: “We were honored to attend the Wilkes-Barre Salvation Army’s Annual Dinner, celebrating 140 years of service and the 30th anniversary of the Kirby House. I was deeply honored to be presented with the Salvation Army Community Impact Award. We are grateful for the staff and” The Salvation Army has been active in Wilkes-Barre for over a century, providing social services including emergency shelter through facilities such as the Kirby House.
