Congressman Rob Bresnahan Jr. highlighted his recent activities supporting veterans and community initiatives in a series of posts on his official social media account.
On November 11, 2025, Bresnahan announced, “We were honored to help return the Bronze Star of Don Schaller’s late father, WWII Veteran Clyde Schaller, after it was stolen. We’re proud to support our veterans and preserve their family’s legacy of courage and service. “ This post underscored his office’s involvement in assisting the Schaller family recover a significant military honor that had been taken from them.
Later that day, Bresnahan participated in a local event recognizing military service members. He wrote on November 11, 2025: “Honored to celebrate our heroes at the Wyoming Valley Veterans Parade! My team and I rode with the BresnaVan, thanking veterans for their service and sacrifice and showing our appreciation for all they’ve done for our country. “
The following day, November 12, 2025, Bresnahan turned attention to local development programs during a visit to ACE NEPA. In his words: “Touring ACE NEPA was inspiring, seeing their home rehab projects, Pre-K center, and future HQ firsthand. Their work in housing, education, and workforce training is a prime example of the positive impacts of federal programs like LIHEAP and Head Start, and I’m proud to advocate” These remarks reflect ongoing congressional advocacy for federally funded initiatives such as LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) and Head Start.
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists low-income households with energy costs while Head Start provides early childhood education services nationwide. Both programs have longstanding federal support aimed at improving living standards through direct aid and educational opportunities.
Bresnahan represents constituents who benefit from these types of federal programs as well as those with connections to U.S. military service.
