Rob Bresnahan Jr. addresses NEPA utility hikes and community inclusion in recent posts

Congressman Rob Bresnahan Jr. has recently used his social media platform to address a range of issues affecting his constituents, including utility costs, autism awareness, and religious observance.

On April 1, 2026, Bresnahan voiced concerns about rising utility prices in Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA), specifically criticizing UGI’s most recent rate hike. He stated, “NEPA families are being asked to pay more and more for the same essential service, and it’s happening too often. UGI’s latest request, which comes right on the heels of another increase, is simply not sustainable for small businesses, working families, and seniors on fixed”.

The following day, April 2, 2026, Bresnahan marked World Autism Month by highlighting the need for greater inclusion and support for individuals with autism. He posted: “This World Autism Month we recognize the importance of acceptance and inclusion for individuals on the autism spectrum. Everyone deserves the chance to succeed and we will continue working to build stronger communities.”

On April 3, 2026, he acknowledged Good Friday with a message focused on reflection and peace: “On this Good Friday we reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus and the hope it brings. May this holy day bring peace to your heart and a moment of quiet reflection with your loved ones.”

Congressman Rob Bresnahan Jr., who represents Pennsylvania’s 8th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, regularly addresses local issues such as utility costs as well as broader community themes through his official communications.
