At 3 p.m. on Friday, March 13, Chris Walsh, a former North Pocono High School standout, played a key role for the Monmouth Hawks when they secured a 5-4 victory over the Hofstra Pride in NCAA Division I baseball.

The matchup was hosted at MU Baseball Field and marked the teams’ first meeting this season.

Walsh finished the day going 2-for-3, with one run, one RBI, and one strikeout.

The Hawks will return to MU Baseball Field for their next contest against Hofstra Pride on Saturday, March 14, at 1 p.m.
