On Friday, Feb. 28, former Mid Valley High School standout Maranda Runco’s current college team, the Villanova Wildcats, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Tech Hokies.
The game took place at Moyer Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Hokies this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. at Moyer Sports Complex against Robert Morris Colonials.
