Led by head coach Bill Burke, the University of Scranton men’s and women’s cross country teams have released their 2022 schedules with the campaign set to get underway on Sept. 1.

The Royals will open the season at the Misericordia Invitational.

On Sept. 24, Scranton will compete in the Lock Haven Invitational and six days later, will head to Lehigh University to compete in the annual Paul Short Run.

Following a meet at Gettysburg on Oct. 15, the Royals will return to the course for the Landmark Conference Championships on Oct. 29 at Goucher. The final meet on the slate is the annual NCAA Mideast Regional Meet on Nov. 12 to be hosted by Lock Haven University.

A season ago, both programs registered top four finishes at the Landmark Conference Championship meet and Jessica Hoffmann (Millington, N.J./Watchung Hills) won Performer of the Year accolades en route to qualifying for the NCAA Championship meet.
