North Pocono High School issued the following announcement on May 25.

This year eight North Pocono students earned awards on the Medusa Mythology Exam, an international competition for mythology enthusiasts. The 2022 exam theme was “Heroic Helpers.” We would like to congratulate the following students on their achievements.

Mary Alunni, Liberty Owen, and Eleanor Kloss earned magna cum laude ribbons.
Emma Budnovitch, William Havenstrite, Victoria Botticelli, Alexis Charles, and Aidan DeLucy earned cum laude certificates.
Mr. Anthony Duchnowski, Latin teacher and “Dead Language Society” advisor, would like to congratulate the award winners and to commend the efforts of all the students who took the test.
