On Tuesday, March 4, former Scranton Preparatory School standout Lia Festa’s current college team, the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Winthrop Eagles.
The game took place at Terry Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of the Meadows against Le Moyne Dolphins.
