On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Scranton Preparatory School standout Lia Festa’s current college team, the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Norfolk State Spartans.
The game took place at NSU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Spartans this season.
The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 12 p.m. at Lady Pirates Softball Stadium against Hampton Lady Pirates.
