Saturday, March 14, saw Kutztown Golden Bears, featuring former North Pocono High School standout Alexa Stevens, claim a 7-4 victory over the Holy Family Tigers in their NCAA Division II softball contest, which started at noon.
The matchup took place at North Campus Field and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.
Stevens contributed with a hit in two at-bats and crossed home plate twice.
The Golden Bears will return to North Campus Field for their next meeting with Holy Family Tigers later on Saturday, March 14, at 2 p.m.
