Jefferson Township Lions Presents a Buddy Bench to Jefferson Elementary Center

On Sept. 23rd Jefferson Elementary Center held the Olweus Bullying Prevention assembly. Mrs. Castrogiovanni, Principal, met with members of the Jefferson Township Lions Club. The Jefferson Township Lions Club donated a Buddy Bench to the playground. Jefferson Elementary students use the Buddy Bench if they’re feeling left out. Olweus lessons encouraged students to reach out to students sitting on the bench. The Jefferson Elementary family gives a large Thank You to the Jefferson Township Lions Club.
