In an effort to provide nutrition and assistance to our area’s veterans, the Lackawanna County Veterans Affairs Office, Bread Basket of NEPA and the Theodore J. Wint VFW Post 25 have joined forces to offer a weekly pantry for those who have served their country and are in need.

The pantry will be located at The Wint VFW on 2291 Rockwell Avenue, Scranton, and be open every Friday from 11 AM – 1 PM.

It is available to all veterans, their families, and the widows of veterans. No financial/income information is required to utilize this service.

Veterans and/or their families must register on their initial visit.  They need to bring any of the following documents to sign-up: DD 214, VA card or Military ID.
