Eastern Eagles fall to York Spartans 6-5 in Division III baseball; Scranton’s Labukas pitches one inning

On Saturday, March 14, at 3 p.m., Dylan Labukas, a former Scranton High School standout, and his Eastern Eagles team were narrowly defeated 6-5 by the York Spartans in an NCAA Division III baseball matchup.

The Yard served as the venue for the third game this season between the teams. In their prior contest on Saturday, March 14, the Eagles secured a 7-1 victory over the Spartans.

Labukas pitched one inning, conceding one earned run while notching a walk and a strikeout.

The Eagles will next face the Muhlenberg Mules on Wednesday, March 18, at 3 p.m. at Bicentennial Park.
