Ciera Toomey, a former standout from Dunmore Junior Senior High School who now plays for the North Carolina Tar Heels, is set to compete in the NCAA Tournament.
North Carolina enters the tournament as the No. 4 seed and faces 13th-seeded Western Illinois Leathernecks in their first game.
The opener is slated for Friday, March 20, with tip-off at 4:30 p.m. at the Dean E. Smith Center.
