On Saturday, March 22, former Dunmore High School standout Ciera Toomey’s current collegiate team the North Carolina Tar Heels won 70-49 against the Oregon State Beavers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Carmichael Arena, this was the first game against the Oregon State Beavers during the championship.
The North Carolina Tar Heels’ next game will take place on Monday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in Carmichael Arena against West Virginia Mountaineers.
Ciera Toomey’s hometown is Dunmore and game position is forward.
